Blaine Johnson, President Hyde Park Performance, LLC

I have been a consultant for over 25 years focused on providing clients with solutions to improve the performance of their critical workforces. I have always recognized the critical role of human performance in the realization of business results and the creation of business value. After receiving my MBA from The College of William and Mary in 1988, I started my consulting career at Arthur Andersen as part of a small Education Consulting Services group within Arthur Andersen’s Management Information Consulting Division. I grew and evolved along with the discipline of change management as part of Accenture’s leading human performance consulting practice during my 15 years with the firm. As an Associate Partner at Accenture, I helped shape and deliver Human Performance and Change Management offerings for the Utilities industry group. I have worked with many of North America’s largest electric, gas and water utilities while with Accenture and also as an executive at Capstone Consulting, Alliance Data and Five Point Partners which was eventually acquired by Ernst and Young. Since early 2011, I have been an independent consultant primarily working as part of Accenture client delivery teams on large business transformation and core system implementation programs. I worked extensively with customer contact, billing, credit, field operations and corporate service business functions impacted by change. As an independent consultant, I enjoy being able to bring over 25 years of hands-on experience to the front lines of change programs by working with client leaders, employees and other partners to make successful change real.
Navigating business change is about people and their critical role in delivering business results. By applying sound fundamentals, proven methodologies and leveraging decades of experience, I work with clients to plan and execute solutions that develop and reinforce workforce behaviors that are aligned with business objectives. I don’t believe in a cookie cutter approach to change management. By understanding what is changing and the full context surrounding a change, I strive to provide tailored solutions that have the right mix of change enablers including leadership and talent management components such as learning, executive sponsorship, organization design, stakeholder communications, and performance management. All with the goal of enabling workforce behaviors that deliver and create business results and value.
